Just checking in on one of our favorite public works projects. A tipster sent us a photo for use and that triggered a visit to the Public Building Commission's online construction gallery to rally some more tasty shots. Some major pieces are falling into place. With a little imagination—or a look at renderings—you can see it taking shape. To refresh, the 31st Street Harbor Plan includes 1,000 boat slips, four new acres of parkland, a playground, promenade, and harbor facility with restaurant and community space. Anticipated opening by the end of next year.
