EVERYWHERE—This week, the 2012 Michelin Guide Chicago came out and tagged a number of restaurants with coveted star ratings, including Alinea, which stayed at three. L20, however, slipped to one star while Avenues fell off the list entirely because it closed. Check out the full list.
NEW YORK—At a grand bash in Manhattan on Monday, the winners of the 2011 Eater Awards were announced and included Next as restaurant of the year and Spiaggia's Sarah Grueneberg as chef of the year.
ANDERSONVILLE—Big Jones chef/owner Paul Fehribach likes old food, well actually, old recipes and recently released a new menu with classic Southern dishes, some dating back to the 1700s.
