On the Block: An 1889 Wicker 2-Flat for $569,900

This 2-unit Wicker Park building has idled on the market for 16 months now. Thankfully, its price isn't frozen. Since listing in July 2010 for $719,000, the ask has dropped several times to its current $569,900. This doesn't account for the two previous years of on-again off-again listing activity whereby the price dropped from its original $769,000. But one person's headache is another's Tylenol (?) and Curbed wants you to make out like a bandit. Of course, being a landlord is a reliable means to headache as well, so you could consider unifying the spaces into one killer four-bedroom pad. As it stands there's a primary first floor & basement duplex, and a second floor unit. Hardwoods throughout, back decks, rooftop, and a 2-car garage are the key features. Steps to Division St. madness.
