An Old and Confused Lincoln Park Cottage for $525,000

New, 1 comment

It's easy to look inside this 3BR cottage in Lincoln Park and miss that it's 130+ years old. With the exception of its front face, all of the history has washed away—wiped clean by a careless attendant. Listed a fixer-upper, the agent openly invites buyers to "tear it down and build your dream home!" That's just a way to widen interest, of course, but Curbed hopes a historically-conscious fella comes along and guts the cheapie stuff. There's sure to be rewards beneath. Going for $525,000, this guy's been on and off the market for three years, yet there's no evidence of price cuts.
