Re-distribution of Corpses

161 years ago, the founders of St. Johannes Cemetery at best harbored only abstract dreams of aviation. Now the cemetery stands in the path of one of the world's largest airports' expansion plans. That is, until the last 300 graves are relocated to make way for a new runway. Earlier this year, the city won a long legal battle to disinter the bodies. Three-quarters of the graves have since been relocated but it gets tougher as relatives of the deceased become harder to track down. The runway hopes to be completed by late 2013. [NBC]
