Ahoy! Curbed was doing some rainy-day meandering through the Redfin MLS database, when we stumbled upon new listings for Hyde Park's Solstice on the Park! We knew from past land swaps and statements from developer Antheus Capital, that the proposal was coming to fruition. The 28-story Studio Gang-designed condo tower will offer 142 two-to-four bedroom units from 1,500-4,200 sq. ft. When we spoke with Peter Cassel of Antheus/MAC Properties at the start of the summer, there was no solid word on its delivery date, owing to market considerations. We only knew it was going to stay condo. We've contacted Antheus again for an update, and await their response. The photos above are a model- with simulation -of a high-floor unit (cue the ever-ubiquitous droopy lamp), and the four we've encountered on Redfin range from a $600K two-bedroom on the 7th floor to a top-floor 3BR for $2.5M. All units feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a large terrace, and building amenties include a pool, fitness center, and library. Steep for Hyde Park, but it's hard to best such a sexy green design. Expected late next year, we'll keep you up to speed on construction and sales.
