Looks like site prep for perhaps the final tower of the K Station-mega development is well underway at 365 N Halsted, behind the Jewel-Osco. George at Skyscraper Page, snapped this shot a few days ago, and movement has been seen since. The 33-story, 496-unit glassy tower from developer Fifield Co. will join the Alta and Echelon towers in congregating residents within range of Blommer's chocolate perfume. Looking at the renderings, there appears to be two towers, not one. But that's just the illusion of, as the developer puts it "the two wings of this luxury high-rise apartment building sliding past each other (to) capture the core elements between...". Apart from the sterile parking podium, not a bad design.
