In the depth of winter, Chicagoans have to summon a bit of creativity to keep from slipping into a February funk (especially with this thing in the forecast). For some, that might just mean cranking up the mariachi a little louder than usual. For others, it entails tricking out your basement and converting it into a tiki bar, like this place that John Kristoff linked to on the Domu.com blog last week. The basement has a "custom tiki bar," there's a hot tub on the roof deck (which, by the looks of things, the current tenants have been making good use of this winter), and there's a large stone steam shower in the basement with nine shower heads. The 2BD, 2.5BA townhouse is located about a block away from Pulaski Park in Noble Square, and it's listed for rent for $2,650 per month.
