Grahamwich Gets Skewered; Trouble at Sweets & Savories?; More!

This week's top dish from Eater Chicago, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

GOLD COAST—Despite getting praise and hype from all over Chicago, Grahamwich got skewerd by Time Out Chicago. The magazine's Julia Kramer gave the sandwich shop just one star out of five and was pretty unimpressed with mostly everything ... except the grilled cheese and the Reuben.

LINCOLN PARK—Is trouble brewing at Sweets & Savories? Eater got a tip its chef left and the restaurant closed—and their website being down wasn't a good sign. But they're apparently still in business ... for now.

RIVER NORTH—Tired of the same old boring sushi? In May, hit Union Sushi + Barbeque Bar, a new kushiyaki opening by the former exec chef at Sushi Wabi.

LINCOLN PARK—Want your own tequila locker? Pop into Taco Joint, which just opened in the former Minnie's space. In a few weeks, you'll be able to get a taco on-the-go from the restaurant's walk-up window.
