Former Blackhawk Dustin Byfuglien's House is Under Contract

Looks like Roscoe Village's pro hockey player population will be reduced by one. In October, a tipster told us that a member of the Stanley Cup-winning Blackhawks, Dustin "Big Buff" Byfuglien, had placed his Roscoe Village home on the market. Byfuglien's home isn't your standard jock house; it it's a stucco-and-brick French country home, (Chicago mag's Dennis Rodkin toured it a couple years ago). Big Buff paid $1.265 million for the 5BD, 3.5BA home when he purchased it in December, 2008, and he listed it for just a trifle more than that, at $1,299,999, when he put it back on the market in late September. The 4,200-square-foot home is currently under contract, but the sale hasn't closed yet, so we don't have a sale price to report.
