"Pristine" is a funny word to describe a resale condo, but that's how the listing characterizes this 3BD, 1.5BA in the East Village. "Colorful" might be more accurate. It can be difficult to make a newer condo feel unique (this one is a gut-rehab from 2005), so the owner of this place used the walls as a canvas, adding an orange circle in the bathroom, accent walls in the living rooms and bedrooms, mismatching cupboards, and a psychedelic backsplash. Even the candy jars in the kitchen are sorted by color. For artists, there's a utility sink in the pantry, and a fairly large porch in the back. The place is pretty warm and playful, if a bit loud, and it looks like a decent space, but $319,900 might still be a little bit too high for most buyers. The downstairs apartment sold for $275,000 over the summer.
