In the 2001 John Hughes movie Just Visiting, a 12th century wizard creates a magic potion, transporting Lord Thibault and his servant to present-day Chicago. Slapstick hijinks ensue, and by the end of the movie Thibault finds his way back across the pond (and time). We'd like to imagine that if Thibault had stayed in Chicago, this is the home he would've built. The North side home, which agent Chaz Walters refers to as the "palatial manor home," was built in 2006, and it has a pair of armored knights standing guard in the "formal entry gallery." Even the garage has merlons, in case you need to protect your car from attacking barbarians. Most of the rest of the 8,000-square-foot home is pretty contemporary, and it's currently priced at $1,725,000.
