Chicago Spire Developer Puts Gold Coast Mansion on the Market

New, 2 comments

Garrett Kelleher, developer of the failed Chicago Spire, is looking to slink away from another Chicago real estate purchase (although there don't appear to be any foreclosure suits attached to this one). Chicago mag's Dennis Rodkin reports that Kelleher quietly put his Gold Coast mansion on the market for $16 million. The home isn't listed on the MLS, but Kelleher reportedly paid $8.5 million when he bought it in 2006, and his real estate agent tells Rodkin that he "put millions into it." The 9,000-square-foot home has 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, and a large side yard. VHT has a full slide show of the home's interior, which has been online since last February.
