The Apprentice Sells Again, and Makes Another Good Haul

New, 3 comments

He might not have the best taste in wall art, but we've got to hand it to motivational speaker / reality TV personality Bill Rancic: The guy knows how to turn a profit on real estate. And in the current market, that's saying something. Rancic won the the first season of The Apprentice in 2004, back when people seemed to care about that show. Three years later he purchased a handsome Gold Coast row house for $1.5 million, and in 2009 he resold it for $3.6 million -- quite a healthy return on investment. Just a couple months before selling the row house, Rancic also purchased a 2BD, 2.5BA foreclosure in Park Tower for $1.185 million. After listing it for $1.65 million last April, it sold last week for $1.425 million. Rancic also bought a 12,000 square-foot, 7BD, 9.5BA home McMansion in Hinsdale last fall for $1.56 million. How long before that comes back on the market?
