The rent has dropped again on R. Kelly's 8,000-square-foot former Lake View mansion, and the for-sale price has dipped a bit, too. When Kelly sold the converted church in 2002, he pocketed $2.25 million. Then, the home changed hands a couple of times before going into foreclosure. Current owner Ilene Greenblatt bought it from the lender for just $1 million in 2008, and she listed it last summer for $3.89 million or for rent for $35,000 per month. Yesterday, Tribune real estate columnist Bob Goldsborough noticed that the price had slipped to $3.5 million -- a 9 percent reduction. The rental price was reduced from $25,000 to $20,000 per month.
