Hey, New Yorkers: Walmart is awesome. At least according to 37th Ward Ald. Emma Mitts, who is so high on the Walmart in Chicago's Austin neighborhood that she penned an Op-Ed in the New York Daily News yesterday. "Walmart has been a boon to my constituents on the far West Side of Chicago. The change is obvious. No academic research, especially not a flawed research report, will convince me otherwise," she writes. [NY Daily News]
