Parc Huron Gets LEED Gold, Attacked by Coyotes

It's official: Parc Huron, that bluish-greenish condo-turned-rental high-rise in River North, got a gold star from the US Green Building Council last week. The building scored big for developing a pocketsize park, a green roof and for "extensive use of natural light throughout the units and common areas, and for the walkable location in the heart of River North." In fact, the hippies behind the drafting boards at Hartshorne Plunkard made Parc Huron so green that the surrounding 'hood risks becoming an untamed wilderness, as a wild coyote was spotted across the street in Erie Park on Friday.
