Not Louisiana, Paris, France, New York, or Rome, but could a revival be in store for Gary, IN? The Metropolitan Planning Council and the Times Media Company are partnering to promote redevelopment in the nearby industrial town. In October, the public was invited to vote on six major redevelopment projects that included new parks, bike trails, increasing traffic to the Gary airport, and the revitalization of Broadway Avenue downtown.
