"The only 'improvement' I could get behind in Gary would be to make the airport a REAL third area airport w/ new concourse and rail connections. Anything else in Gary I'm afraid is a lost cause. Unfortunately the steel mills aren't coming back. And since Gary essentially developed as a steel company town - how the mills go, so goes the town.
