$4.5 million for a 2BD apartment?? Sticker shock isn't uncommon at the Palmolive Building. It's one of Chicago's priciest buildings, and on a price per square foot basis, this 2BD, 3.5BA condo is one of the most expensive units in the building (and all of downtown Chicago). Chicago-based interior designer Alessandra Branca is responsible for the bright decor, and probably much of the hefty price tag. "No expense was spared," says the listing. No kidding: The 3,000-square-foot condo appears to have been sold for $1.8 million in 2007, and it's now on the market for more than double that.
