Say what you will about architect Lucien Lagrange and that awful mansard roof, Elysian comes up big where it counts: sales. The traditional skyscraper already owned the top three priciest sales in Chicago, and now this. Bryan Glazer, co-chairman of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Manchester United, spent $8.6 million on a 53rd-floor condo in Elysian — the priciest condo sale in Chicago for 2010. And with only a week left in the year, it's likely to remain the year's biggest sale. The condo is one floor up from the one that options trader Igor Chernomzav spent $8.18 million on in the spring. Chernomzav also owns a 12,000-square-foot duplex on the building's 56th and 57th floors, which is currently listed for $9.8 million. Your move, Vision.
