It takes just one day to build assemble a prefab home, and today's the big day. Last month we reported that a green modular home was under construction in West Town, and this morning a large crane arrived to the 1400 block of Ohio Street to begin assembling the roughly 2,000 square-foot home. Module by module a large construction crane lifts pieces of the home over the treetops, clearing the neighboring four-story buildings, and setting them in place. We're told that the whole thing will be finished by the end of the day. Take a look at the photo gallery above, and keep an eye on Square Root Architecture's Flickr stream for updates.
