Less than a year has passed since Prism Development managed to secure financing for the Ritz-Carlton Residences, and construction is moving skyward on the Mag Mile high-rise. The 11-story building at the corner of Erie Street and Michigan Avenue appears to be topped off, and it will be clad with the limestone facade from the deconstructed Farwell Building. Next door, cement for about 13 floors has been poured. A couple months ago, the Ritz-Carlton development blog shared a photo of some precast panels (shown in the last slide of the above slide show), which have since been installed on some of the lower floors facing Michigan Avenue.
