To mark the 10-year anniversary of the CHA's controversial Plan for Transformation, the MacArthur foundation asked some MIT brainiacs to review the more than 80 studies conducted over the past decade. Their findings? A pretty mixed bag. Some have fared better, and some worse, and while most of the neighborhoods affected by the Plan have improved, "many residents have lost vital social networks due to relocation," according to one of the authors.
