Introducing Curbed Chicago—Neighborhoods, Real Estate, More!

New, 11 comments

The scaffolding is down. The paint is dry. Curbed Chicago is ready for liftoff. (Please excuse the dust.)

Curbed Chicago is the newest site in the Curbed Network, celebrating neighborhoods, architecture, real estate porn, gossip, and everything to do with the built environment of our fair city. If architects' renderings make you tingly and apartment floorplans make you drool, you've come to the right place. West Town resident Mark Boyer (ahem, that's me) takes the helm as Curbed Chicago's editor, and he'll get the conversation started, but it's up to you, dear reader, to keep us up to speed with what's happening in your 'hood. If you've got news, scoops, tips, rumors or rants, don't be shy about directing them to our tipline.

We'll also share the latest news and commentary about new developments, real estate prices and neighborhood gossip spanning the downtown market to the far-flung neighborhoods, and sometimes even the suburbs. For those familiar with some of the regular features of Curbed National/NY/SF/LA/Hamptons, you can expect a healthy dose of the Pricespotter and PriceChopper, as well as some brand-new features exclusive to the Windy City.

Oh, and one more note: today's announcement includes not only the launch of Curbed Chicago, but also sister sites Eater Chicago, covering all things restaurant and nightlife-related, and Racked Chicago, which will keep you up-to-date on the city's latest shopping and retail intelligence. Drop us a line and say hi. And thanks for stopping by.
