Rumman Dismissed

Chicagoan Michael Rumman has been dismissed in a lawsuit alleging that he and Iraqi billionaire Nadhmi Auchi cheated another investor out of Tony Rezko's stake in a large South Side real estate deal, Crain's reports. Rumman was the CEO of a company that at one point planned to build 4,600 residential units on the massive vacant parcel at Clark and Roosevelt. Now, Rezko is in jail, Auchi isn't allowed on American soil, and tumbleweed is still rolling around on the 62-acre undeveloped parcel. [Crain's]
