Even US Marshals aren't immune to the weak housing market, because for two years they've been trying, unsuccessfully, to unload two 16th-floor apartments in Lake Shore Place. (Although they did reject at least one offer.) The homes were seized from Tone Grant, president of Refco Group, who was convicted of securities fraud in 2008.
