Yes, we're on a suburban tour today. This time it's the southwest enclave of Indian Head Park, which is near Willowbrook, where a the owners of this 1952 Keck & Keck-designed home went beyond the standard nip/tuck, and instead opted for an all-out makeover. The original 3BD home was roughly 2,000 square feet, and the owners doubled its size by adding a three-car garage and an upstairs living area that includes an office, an entertainment center, and another room that could serve as a fourth bedroom. The two wings, which are connected by a small interior bridge, have 4BD, 3.5BA and 4,257 square feet of livable space. The current owners bought the place for $505,000, and they're offering it for $1.3 million. One of the homeowners is a landscape designer, and they've added a rain garden and more than 100 trees to the 119.67' X 166.75' lot. For more, check out this photo gallery.
