Interior Designer Tom Stringer Selling His Lake View Greystone

Everyone loves a good makeover story, because they always seem to have happy endings. This one is about interior designer Tom Stringer and his partner Scott Waller, who took a turn-of-the-century Lake View greystone that had been "historicized" (meaning every room had been decorated to represent a different era) and gave it an extreme makeover. Now that the place is remodeled and they got a pretty magazine spread, they're looking to sell, and they're asking about $1.5 million more than they paid for it in 2005. The 6,600 square-foot, 5BD, 5BA home came on the market in June and is currently listed for $3.27 million.
