"Kitchen appeals to the most accomplished chef, all the latest appliances," say the listings for the Hinsdale mansion that Doris Christopher, founder of the kitchen tool company Pampered Chef, just listed for sale. Indeed, the kitchen looks up to par, as does the rest of Christopher's 17,000 square-foot home. The Christophers are “downsizing,” the listing agent told the Tribune, and they listed their 6BD, 9.5BA home for $6.8 million on Saturday. They bought the place for $6.34 million in 2003, and it was the most expensive home sold in Hinsdale up to that time, according to the Trib.
