In usual fashion, Chicago's weather this week has been totally unpredictable and at times just downright terrifying. Tornado sirens blared throughout the Loop and the city's neighborhoods as heavy, dark clouds blanketed the sky. Some folks even spotted funnel clouds and were able to snap a photo of them. Similar to last year's Derecho storm, many basements throughout the area were flooded and instead of watching the Blackhawks clinch the Stanley Cup, some homeowners found themselves trying to drain their homes of standing water. The Cubs postponed their game last night and it seemed like the sky was truly falling. Fortunately, the weather decided to behave just enough to allow the Blackhawks to take a third Stanley Cup win in six years. Judging by today's weather, you'd have no idea that Chicago descended into a bleak, chaotic and apocalyptic scene. It truly looked like something from a movie.
