The North Center home designed and owned by architect Brad Lynch of the Chicago based Brininstool + Lynch was relisted late last week with a $300,000 price cut. Built in 2007, the minimal brick and glass home is a fine example of a contemporary residence, and has earned a number of design awards. The modernist home first listed back in 2010 with an asking price of $2.6 million. Last June it returned to the market with a $100K drop, a price chop that did not seem to motivate buyers. And while the real estate market has certainly rebounded quite a bit from where it was five years ago, the home still has yet to find a suitor. Beyond its striking look and design, the home sits on a wide lot and has a nice back patio space and green roof atop the garage. Today, the four bedroom, three and a half bathroom home can be had for $2.2 million.
