The Sun-Times and others are reporting the impending arrival of Frank Lloyd Wright's William Winslow House on the market. Due to list Dec. 16 through Jameson Sotheby's, the masterful 5,000-sqaure-foot River Forest home was Wright's first independent commission (beyond the "bootlegs") after leaving Louis Sullivan's side. It predates full-blown Prairie Style but does assume a horizontal orientation. Built in 1893, this will be the property's first listing since 1955. The ask: $2.4M. Stay tuned!
