The lightning rod proposal for an "architectural" Walgreens on the Armitage shopping corridor just west of Halsted will break ground by summer's end pending permits. A venture led by developer Mark Hunt bought a church-occupied parcel at 834 W Armitage, demolishing the church to cater to Walgreens.
