Opa!! There is reason to celebrate in Chicago's Greek community, the second largest in the U.S. The new, state-of-the-art National Hellenic Museum opened its doors on November 8th. And Curbed ventured to Greektown to grab some pics. The 40,000 square-foot modern building was designed by Demetrios Stavrianos of RTKL and cost $20 million to build. Located at 333 S. Halsted St., it is the only Greek museum in the U.S. and will feature exhibits on culture, history, and art. First among them is "Gods, Myths, and Mortals," debuting on December 10th.
