It's been two years since the godfather of House music Frankie Knuckles passed away, but his legend lives on as House continues experiencing a major comeback. Shortly after Frankie Knuckles passed away, hundreds of House music fans convened at Cloud Gate to celebrate the life and music of the pioneering DJ. But the party continues. On May 28, the city will be hosting a House party at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park from 3-9 p.m. The event will feature DJ sets from Joe Smooth and Steve Miggedy Maestro and live performances by the Vick Lavender Ensemble and the House Legacy Project. So far, 10,000 people have already RSVP'ed on Facebook for the event. This is one house party that won't have a cover -- admission is free.
